I've been a fan of Sport Clips for sometime now. Every single time I come to one I'm so relaxed and prepared for the service and yes even pampering I receive. I've always meet the most laid back and down-to-earth employees. I started utilizing Sport Clips in California. I come to this particular location and had my world crushed. I am a realist....everyone has a bad day, but when your in customer service.....it can backfire on ya pretty quickly, unfortunately. I had a particular stylist ask me about 4 times who I was, mind you my name was up on the monitor next to her name. She continued to apologize to me for the uncommonly long wait, especially since only 4 people where in there, who arrived 20 minutes after I did. Secondly, from the time I approached her to setting on the chair I never felt very welcomed at all. She was acting somewhat impatient with me when i was deciding and explaining how i wanted to have my hair cut. Every stylist I've ever had has always been patient and helpful with suggestions. Once the cut began....she acted rushed like they were overwhelmed. (The whole process of the cut was uncomfortable. I'm not asking to be treated like royalty...but, the pampering they provide is nice. Besides...for the money I pay, I would expect the same service I've always received.) Once I went to the hair wash station, she told me where to sit, but did not offer, told me where to find the handle to extend the foot rest and did not bring the roll away rest (since I'm tall); for me to use or even offer. The entire time I chatted with her to make conversation, thinking she's had a tough day. Being personable. Didn't work to well. The wash chair was not raise, no massage features turned on and when the wash was over she asked "would I like to have ANOTHER MVP, which I was already paying for with the massage???" I stated no and was just surprised it did not happen. She chuckled about it and rushed through the rest of her protocol. The hot towel on my face felt like 5 seconds, the wash was like 6 & 1/2 seconds. Didn't really dry my hair. And rushed me back to stylist chair. Once there, she rushed through shoulder massage and asked if I wanted to purchase any products. I had to request and remind her about the leave in conditioner. She applied it poorly and I had to wipe off my forehead in the mirror in front of her. She said nothing. Once I went up to pay, I went through my normal selection process and she reached across to the screen and starts to choose things for me....as I'd I asked for her help or I was lost. I had to let her know I knew what I was doing and want just reading the screen. She said nothing and just grinned about it. My whole experience was RUINED by her. I stand by this...I will never come to this specific location in Jacksonville Florida again. I'm not going to let this experience destroy my faith in Sport Clips....but, I'm now hesitant to try the other her in the city. I had an excellent experience at one in Tallahassee, but here....I don't want to go anywhere new, but, if this happens more often, I will regretfully leave and find a new spot. - A dissatisfied customer.
